A leading supplier of heavy building materials in Dallas seeks a Scheduling Coordinator to manage aggregate deliveries, ensuring efficiency and effective communication with internal partners and vendors. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (GED) and at least three years of related experience. The Scheduling Coordinator is an integral part of the Dispatch & Customer Service team and operates as the primary contact for coordinating the delivery of aggregates to ready mix production facilities. This position is responsible for maximizing efficiencies and ensuring internal demand is met related to aggregate orders through effective communication with vendors and internal partners.
Physical requirements include lifting/carrying up to 5 pounds from ground to waist, visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity, repetitive motion, standing, sitting (must be able to sit for up to 4 hours at a time), walking, climbing stairs, and driving capabilities.
Environment varies between air-conditioned office environments and occasional outside assignments that may include all weather conditions such as heat or cold, wet or dry. Incumbent may be exposed to plant dust, sand, gravel, and diesel exhaust on a limited basis. Incumbent may occasionally have to work outside of normal business hours via laptop and mobile phone.
