Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is seeking a Youth Development Professional to assist with a quality school-age childcare program. You will help ensure programs meet Delacare rules, support the Childcare or Program Director, and create engaging activities for ages 6-12.

The role requires Level I–III School Age Certificates, First Aid/CPR, and a valid driver's license to operate an 8-passenger van. This is a part-time position with benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Level I–III qualifications for school age childcare roles as listed.
• Must maintain required certifications including First Aid/CPR.
• Ability to pass background checks per DelaCare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and operation of quality school-age childcare programs.
• Deliver age-appropriate activities reflecting core program areas and Youth Development Strategy.
• Ensure safety and compliance of equipment, facilities and supervision.
