Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is seeking a Youth Worker to support the development and operation of quality school-age childcare under the supervision of the Childcare or Program Director.

You will help deliver age-appropriate programs for children aged 6–12, ensure safety, and maintain positive relationships with parents and staff while adhering to state licensing rules and club policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid certification for school-age programs.
• Ability to deliver age-appropriate activities for children ages 6–12 while following licensing rules.
• Must be able to obtain FBI clearance and required background checks per Delaware regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and operating quality school-age childcare programs.
• Supervise children within licensing guidelines and safety standards.
• Maintain positive relationships with parents, teachers, and staff at the Club.
• Serve as a positive role model and uphold club policies and Delaware STARS.
• Support program directors in implementing activities and ensuring a safe environment.
