Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware seeks a Youth Development Professional to assist in developing and operating a quality school-age childcare program compliant with Delacare regulations. You will work under supervision to implement programs, supervise children, and maintain a safe, engaging environment.

Level I–III qualifications include required certificates, valid driver’s license for certain levels, and background checks. Part-time schedule with benefits available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older for Level I, 20+ for Level II/III.
• Certification in school-age care as required by state rules.
• Ability to drive a van and pass background checks as specified.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and operation of a quality school-age childcare program.
• Ensure compliance with Delacare rules for school-age centers.
• Support delivery of age-appropriate activities reflecting core program areas.
• Supervise children ages 6–12 and maintain safe environments.
