Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is seeking a Youth Development Professional in Millsboro, DE to support a quality after-school program for children ages 6–12. Work under the supervision of the Childcare or Program Director to help ensure licensing compliance and program effectiveness.

Responsibilities include helping deliver age-appropriate activities, supervising participants, and maintaining positive relationships with families and school staff while modeling professional conduct and adhering

Qualifications

• Must pass FBI clearance and state background checks as required by Delacare regulations.
• Must pass Delaware criminal history background checks and abuse registry checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and operating a quality school-age childcare program for ages 6–12.
• Ensure programs are safe and age-appropriate and comply with licensing regulations.
• Supervise children according to club guidelines and maintain positive relationships with parents and staff.
• Serve as a positive role model and adhere to club policies and standards.
• Support the Director in delivering diverse activities aligned with core program areas.
