Job summary

Youth Development Professional - Cass at Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee Milwaukee, WI, is responsible for assisting in planning, organizing and implementing programs that empower members to make healthy choices and develop self-esteem. The role requires working with youth aged 4–18, ensuring inclusive activities, maintaining attendance, and following safety and care policies.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months’ experience directly related to youth and youth programming preferred.
• 80 full days or 120 half days of experience as an assistant childcare teacher, if required.
• Demonstrated examples of working with youth.
• Highly organized/attention to detail.
• Works effectively with families from a variety of cultural, linguistic, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing and implementing program activities in accordance with curricula.
• Keep accurate attendance, track member participation, and generate reports as requested.
• Follow member care policies and safety procedures, including emergency and transportation guidelines.
• Collaborate with families, volunteers, and community partners to support program goals.
