Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee seeks a Youth Development Professional – Prince of Peace to support programs that empower members to make healthy choices, develop leadership, and build confidence. Responsibilities include culture responsiveness, planning activities, collaboration with families, and maintaining attendance and safety records.

Ideal candidates will have strong organizational and communication skills, experience with youth, and a commitment to diversity and youth

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CPR, First Aid, SCAN_MART within 6 months of hire.
• Two of the non-credit DCF-approved classes within 6 months.
• 6 months to 1 year of youth programming experience.
• Ability to engage youth ages 4–18 and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inclusive, welcoming program activities and promote belonging.
• Lead youth leadership and empowerment activities and encourage choice.
• Plan and implement activities per curricula; collect member feedback.
• Maintain attendance records and generate monthly/quarterly reports.
• Collaborate with families, volunteers and community partners to meet goals.
• Follow safety policies and report incidents as required.
• Provide guidance and support to youth through positive relationships.
