Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee is seeking a Youth Development Professional to assist in planning, organizing, and implementing programs for members aged 4–18. The role focuses on empowering youth to make healthy choices, develop life skills, and participate in diverse activities.

The position emphasizes collaboration with families, staff, and community partners, with a strong commitment to safety and youth development standards. Part-time hours and local scheduling are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Within 6 months: CPR/First Aid training.
• Within 6 months: complete non-credit DCF-approved classes.
• Level 2: 12 related college credits OR Registry Level 6.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate BGCGM philosophy and provide inclusive programs for members.
• Lead youth leadership activities and foster a sense of belonging.
• Plan and implement program activities following curricula.
• Gather feedback and report on member needs and progress.
