Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is seeking a Jr. Youth Development Professional to support a school-age childcare program in Seaford, DE, under the IPT and Club Director.

The role focuses on safe, age-appropriate activities for youth ages 6–12 and compliance with Delacare rules. You will assist with program delivery, ensure equipment safety, serve as a positive role model, and help promote the organization’s Youth Development Strategy while upholding Delaware STARS and club policies.

Qualifications

• Fourteen (16) years of age or older.
• Work permits are required for ALL employed minors under the age of 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist Childcare/Program Director in delivering a variety of age-appropriate programs and activities for children ages 6 – 12.
• Present yourself as a positive role model for children at all times.
• Contribute toward development of a positive identity and strong presence for the Boys & Girls Club in the community.
• Consistently adhere to the policies and practices of Delaware STARS.
• Assume other tasks, assignments and responsibilities as needed or directed.
