Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware in Seaford, DE is seeking a Jr. Youth Development Professional - Agriculture to support after-school programs for youth ages 6–12.

Under the IPT and Club Director, you will help operate a licensed school-age childcare program and implement age-appropriate activities. This role emphasizes safety, positive role modeling, adherence to policies, and collaboration with staff to deliver programming that aligns with the organization’s five core areas and Delaware STARS

Qualifications

• Sixteen (16) years of age or older.
• Work permits required for ALL employed minors under the age of 18 years of age.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and engage in active childcare activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering age-appropriate programs for children ages 6–12.
• Help ensure safety and proper use of equipment and facilities during activities.
• Serve as a positive role model and adhere to BGCDE policies.
• Support program directors in daily operations and event planning.
• Maintain energy and interact with children during activities.
