Job summary

RB Global is seeking a Branch Operations Assistant to support daily customer inquiries and branch tasks under supervision. You will handle clerical duties, data entry, and yard operations including vehicle detailing and loader operations to ensure smooth auction days.

The role requires strong communication, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Full-time position based at the Baton Rouge facility.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills.
• Excellent professional communication, verbal and written.
• Willing to learn forklift within 90 days of starting.
• Experience in equipment rental or construction preferred.
• General mechanical knowledge of vehicles required.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support via mail, phone, and in person.
• Process orders and data entry.
• Reference pricing and delivery information.
• Respond to questions, complaints and requests.
• Perform word processing, filing and clerical duties.
• Process auction day paperwork with supervisor approvals.
• Assist with yard functions and vehicle upkeep during sale.
• Lead Yard Attendants, Loader Operators, and Customer Service Representatives.
• Operate loader and move vehicles around facility as needed.
• Detail vehicles to improve auction appearance.
