Job summary

RB Global in the United States seeks a Branch Operations Assistant for the Yard Operations team. This full-time role supports customer and branch inquiries, performs clerical duties, and assists with yard functions, including Loader Operation, to ensure information is recorded during vehicle intake.

Responsibilities include processing orders, reference pricing, handling inquiries and paperwork for auction day, and detailing vehicles for presentation. Outdoor work applies in all weather.

Qualifications

• Leadership and time management for multi-tasking yard operations.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and independent work ability.
• Willing to learn forklift operation within 90 days.
• General mechanical knowledge of vehicles and basic repair skills are helpful.
• Proficient MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support via mail, phone and in person.
• Process orders and data entry into the computer system.
• Reference pricing and delivery information.
• Respond to questions, complaints and requests from customers.
• Perform word processing, filing and clerical duties.
• Handle auction-day paperwork and obtain necessary approvals.
• Follow established procedures under supervisor guidance.
• Open to learning automobile titling.
• Assist with other office tasks as needed.
• Record and file vehicle check-in information for assigned vehicles.
• Detail vehicles to improve appearance and auction value.
• Safely move vehicles around the facility.
• Assist visitors and direct them to appropriate contacts.
• Loader operation experience preferred.
• Report policy violations to supervisor promptly.
• Be a subject matter expert for yard attendants, loaders and CSRs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
