Job summary

RB Global Inc. is seeking a Branch Operations Assistant to handle customer inquiries, process orders, and perform clerical duties under supervision, with loader operation duties to move vehicles through the sale process.

You will assist with vehicle check-in, maintain records, and support yard operations; outdoor role in all weather with potential forklift training and Microsoft Office tasks; full-time onsite at the Raleigh area.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and resolve problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers and staff.
• Willing to learn forklift operation within 90 days.
• General mechanical knowledge of vehicles and experience in rental/construction fields preferred.
• Basic automotive repair skills preferred.
• Loader operation experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support via mail, phone, and in person.
• Process orders and enter data into the system.
• Reference pricing and delivery information.
• Respond to customer questions and requests.
• Perform word processing, filing, and clerical duties.
• Process paperwork for auction day under supervisor guidance.
• Learn automobile titling.
• Assist with other office functions as needed.
• Record vehicle check-in data and reference vehicle information.
• Detail vehicles to improve value for auction.
• Safely move vehicles around the facility and store them properly.
• Assist visitors and direct them appropriately.
• Loader operation experience is preferred.
• Report policy violations to supervisor promptly.
• Serve as subject matter expert for Yard Attendants and Customer Service.
