Moxtek in Utah is seeking a Metrology Scientist focused on X-ray sources. You will conduct metrology testing, characterize X-ray source products, and help develop testing platforms and procedures across product lines.

The role collaborates with Development, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing, and Reliability through all life cycle stages to ensure specifications are met and processes improve quality.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in physics or electrical engineering required.
• LabVIEW hardware programming/control experience.
• Experience writing technical reports.
• Experience with statistics and/or data analysis preferred.
• Experience testing and operating X-Ray Sources and tubes preferred.

Aufgaben

• Test system operation in support of development, manufacturing, reliability, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Generate reports (MS Office, technical calculations) for internal documentation and customers.
• Read and understand product specifications; participate in generating specifications.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical and programming problems.
• Assist in setup and creation of test platforms and in operator training and certification.
