Formación

• Ph.D. in physics, applied physics, materials science, chemical engineering, or closely related field.
• Hands-on experience with X-Ray techniques: CD-SAXS, XRD, XRR, or XRF.
• Experience conducting X-Ray experiments at synchrotron, national lab, or advanced research facility.
• Experience optimizing experimental methods for throughput, sensitivity, precision, and SNR.
• Familiarity with electromagnetic modeling, scattering theory, or related simulations.
• Experience developing finite/inverse problem solving, parameter estimation, or ML methods.
• Knowledge of uncertainty quantification, gauge R&R, metrology validation, and measurement-system analysis.
• Publications, conferences, patents, or tech transfer demonstrating impact.

Responsabilidades

• Collect data and manage X-Ray metrology hardware, calibrate tools, and ensure measurement accuracy.
• Coordinate data collection on reference and engineering samples; perform Gauge R&R testing and assess tool stability.
• Develop physical models and inverse problems to extract thickness, CD, composition, tilt, and shape factors from data.
• Design ML/AI methods to accelerate data inversion and improve robustness of microelectronics characterization.
• Process data with Python/MATLAB/JMP to identify trends and correlations; document results for stakeholders.
