Job summary

Moxtek is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 2 to support the Power Supply area, assembling and testing high-voltage power supplies for X-ray sources. You will troubleshoot, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with manufacturing engineering, production, and quality teams to identify corrective actions.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in manufacturing or engineering support, electronics fundamentals, and hands-on diagnostic tool experience, with strong attention to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in manufacturing or engineering support required.
• Technical certificate or associate's degree in electronics preferred.
• Green belt certification preferred.
• Experience performing failure and root cause analysis of assemblies.
• Familiarity with X-ray systems, power supply manufacturing, or radiation safety preferred.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools.
• Excellent English communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test various power supplies used in the manufacture of X-ray sources.
• Perform root-cause analysis of power supply failures.
• Identify defective components, wiring errors, workmanship issues and other nonconformances.
• Assist and support production operators with troubleshooting and diagnostic testing.
• Provide technical troubleshooting to the production supervisor and maintenance team.
• Document test procedures and results to identify systemic issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, reliability, and reduction of defects.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment as needed.
