Job summary

Healogics is the nation’s leading provider of advanced wound care services. The Patient Navigator role supports a dynamic outpatient wound care center by handling front office tasks, coordinating care, and ensuring smooth patient flow.

In this role you will greet patients, schedule and remind appointments, verify insurance, input charges, and maintain patient charts while working with providers and other staff to deliver timely care.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong customer service and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, answer calls, and route to staff.
• Schedule, reschedule, and send appointment reminders.
• Obtain and verify patient insurance information, including pre-authorizations.
• Enter patient charges and reconcile billing data in databases.
• Maintain and file patient charts, ensuring data completeness.
• Coordinate ancillary testing with hospital departments.
• Arrange patient transportation as needed.
