Job summary

Healogics, the leading provider of advanced wound care in the United States, seeks a Clinical Patient Navigator for our outpatient wound care center. This role blends administrative and clinical duties to ensure smooth patient flow and quality care.

Under RN/provider direction, you’ll handle front-office tasks, charting, scheduling, and patient coordination while supporting clinical activities as needed. Requires CMA/CNA/EMT credentials and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; an Associate’s degree is preferred.
• Graduate from CMA/EMT/CNA program approved by CAAHEP or ABHES.
• Current CMA/CNA/EMT certification licensed in the state of employment and maintained throughout employment.
• Minimum of 2+ years office administration experience, preferably in medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
• Greet patients and visitors; answer and route calls; schedule appointments.
• Obtain and verify patient insurance information; process pre-certifications and pre-authorizations.
• Enter data and charges in databases; prepare and transmit reports to providers.
• Maintain patient charts; coordinate/schedule ancillary testing; arrange patient transportation.
• Provide wound‑related patient care under RN/Provider direction; assist intake/discharge as needed.
• May assist in Vein Clinic; function as scribe; maintain confidentiality and comply with policies.
