Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Clinical Patient Navigator for our outpatient wound care center. This role blends administrative duties with direct patient care under RN supervision, supporting scheduling, charting, and insurance coordination.

Qualified candidates hold CMA, CNA, or EMT credentials, plus at least two years of medical office experience. Strong organization, communication, and confidentiality are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; CMA/CNA/EMT credentials preferred.
• Two or more years of office administration experience in a medical setting.
• Current CMA, CNA or EMT certification/licensure in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, schedule appointments and manage reminders.
• Obtain and verify patient insurance information, pre-authorizations where needed.
• Enter charges, assemble patient charts, and coordinate testing with hospital departments.
• Under RN/provider supervision, assist with wound care and intake/discharge activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation in the EHR system.
