Job summary

Healogics is the leading provider of advanced wound care, delivering outpatient services across 600+ sites. The Patient Navigator role helps ensure smooth operations at the center, including front desk duties, scheduling, and data entry to support patient care.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED (associate’s degree preferred) and 2+ years of medical office experience; MS Office proficiency and strong communication skills are essential for success in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Prior medical coding experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
• Greets patients and visitors and routes calls to staff.
• Maintains patient communication needs including scheduling, rescheduling, and reminders.
• Obtains and verifies patient insurance information, including pre-certifications and pre-authorizations.
• Enters charges and reconciles accounts; prepares monthly patient survey data.
