Job summary

Build-A-Bear Workshop, Inc. is seeking a Full Time Store Manager for Springfield Mall to lead daily store operations, drive guest experiences, and coach a high-performing team in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will manage payroll, scheduling, merchandising, and staffing decisions, enforce brand standards, and deliver the Experience First culture to guests and associates. A minimum of 2 years of management in retail and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience in a customer-centric retail environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience using store technology solutions (POS, scheduling, HRIS, time and attendance).

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and team performance by coaching staff and managing payroll, forecasting, and scheduling.
• Create weekly schedules and assign daily tasks.
• Make hiring and promotion decisions with input from the Assistant Workshop Manager.
• Lead and inspire the team while enforcing company policies and standards.
• Oversee inventory, merchandising displays, and store environment.
• Build a high-performing team in partnership with leadership.
