Job summary

Verkada Inc. is seeking a Workplace Operations Manager to elevate our NYC office experience and support facilities in New York and Philadelphia.

You will partner with Global Real Estate to ensure a top-tier employee and visitor experience and oversee day-to-day operations with a service-driven approach. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in management and workplace services, strong communication, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A passion for providing exceptional customer service through human connection and ongoing operations support.
• 5+ years of management experience or related project management experience.
• 5+ years of workplace services experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments, work collaboratively.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects, and ever-changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the first point of contact, and face of the Global Real Estate team in your local office.
• Facilitates an ongoing delightful employee experience by providing operational support and maintaining a well organized, visually pleasing facility.
• Assists in maintaining and enhancing the Workplace programs (ex: mailroom operations, internal events, food and beverage programs, etc.).
• Build an active relationship with business partners and leaders to assess team allocations and occupancy needs as well as conference room usage. Provide proactive solutions, and improvement ideas through observation.
• Maintain spatial data within the space management tool and ensure accuracy of information.
• Participate with building audits to verify employee locations, furniture layout and room configurations are correctly noted in the space management tool.
• Coordinate with the Space Planning to maintain space standard ratios for on/offline rooms and office standards and solutions, as well as define space related programs to improve team member experience.
• Facilitates and maintains relationships with building vendors, such as landlord, food and beverage partners, etc.
• Maintain budgets and track expenses for multiple different areas of the business.
• Acts as the single point of contact for all building related issues.
• Facilitates connecting employees to all aspects of the broader Verkada Business Operations teams.
• Other site specific duties and support may be required.
