Verkada Inc. is seeking a Workplace Operations Manager based in New York City, overseeing offices in New York and Philadelphia.

The role emphasizes exceptional service, smooth facilities operations, and collaboration with the Global Real Estate team to deliver a top-tier employee experience in a fast-paced environment. You will manage space data, coordinate with space planning, vendor relationships, budgets, and serve as the primary contact for building issues while ensuring onsite presence five

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience or related project management experience.
• 5+ years of workplace services experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments, work collaboratively.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects, and ever-changing priorities.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, FLS, plumbing, etc.) is strongly encouraged.
• Strong financial acumen with solid understanding of budget tracking & maintenance.
• Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Be the first contact and face of the Global Real Estate team in the local office.
• Provide operational support to deliver a delightful, well-organized, visually pleasing facility.
• Assist in maintaining and improving Workplace programs (mailroom, events, catering, etc.).
• Build relationships with business partners to assess space needs and conference room usage.
• Maintain space data in the space management tool for accuracy.
• Participate in building audits to verify layouts.
• Coordinate with Space Planning to maintain space standards.
• Maintain relationships with building vendors (landlords, F&B partners).
• Track budgets and expenses for multiple areas of the business.
• Be the single point of contact for building issues.
• Connect employees to Verkada Business Operations teams.
• Other site-specific duties may be required.
