Job summary

GTT is seeking a WorkPlace Experience Coordinator to drive a best-in-class office experience for employees and guests at the Plano site. This on-site role oversees service operations, food services, events, and vendor management to ensure efficiency and visitor satisfaction.

The role requires 2 years of related experience, on-site availability, and 40 hours per week, with a focus on collaboration with facilities, security, and safety teams to uphold standards and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a best-in-class end-to-end workplace experience for employees and visitors at the designated office site.
  • Oversee Workplace Service operations including mailroom, janitorial, food & beverage, and related amenities.
  • Manage in-office food services program with cost-effective healthy options.
  • Coordinate on-site contractors and ensure contracted services are provided.
  • Plan and execute employee events and coordinate logistics for internal events.
  • Monitor and report on workplace events and spend; manage operating expenses.
  • Partner with Real Estate, Facilities, Security, and Health & Safety to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with Occupancy Planner on space planning and seating changes.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and drive a collaborative work environment.

Workplace Experience Coordinator

Location: Plano, TX

Onsite Flexibility: Onsite

Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 12 months
  • Pay Rate: $30.00–$32.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This role is responsible for delivering a best-in‑class end‑to‑end workplace experience for all employees and external guests across a designated office site, driving a sense of experience for each employee and visitor to the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure a best-in‑class end‑to‑end workplace experience for all employees and external guests across your designated office site; driving a sense of experience for each employee and visitor to the office.
  • Oversee Workplace Service operations including: mailroom, janitorial, food & beverage, copy/print business supply hub, fitness centers, storage, employee events/programs, and other amenities.
  • Manage in‑office food services program; ensuring healthy variety in a cost‑effective way.
  • Manage the activities of the on‑site contractors, providing guidance and support, and ensuring all contracted services are being provided.
  • Develop, plan, and execute employee events in the office based on employee feedback and interests.
  • Coordinate logistics for internal events, including catering, setups, and communications.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of workplace events, making recommendations for future improvements.
  • Manage Operational Expenses for assigned cost centers; efficient use of budget, tracking and reporting expenses, and vendor accountability. Reporting out on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Partner with Real Estate, Facilities, Security, and Health and Safety to ensure compliance and best practices within the workplace.
  • Partner with the Occupancy Planner on any space planning needs for the office, including team seating changes, ensuring layout, workflow, storage, and aesthetics of spaces align with intended purpose, promoting efficiency and productivity.
  • Partner with the facility management team to ensure systems are in working order and provide an ideal atmosphere for employees and external guests.
  • Stakeholder management through strong working relationships, partnership, and effective communication.
  • Partner with cross‑functional partners to create an inclusive and collaborative work environment.

Required Skills

  • Tech‑savvy and quick to learn new systems and applications.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, Excel, and other online productivity tools.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and navigate new online systems and software, including Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively manage feedback from employees and site stakeholders.
  • Develop strong and respectful working relationships with teammates, peers, and stakeholders.
  • Take ownership and work independently on tasks and projects with little supervision.
  • Effectively convey ideas, solutions, and problems with manager, peers, and customers.

  • Exceptional organizational skills, ability to multi‑task and successfully coordinate multiple projects simultaneously; ability to prioritize activities effectively, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

  • Office management or administrative experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with facility management principles and operations is a plus.

Required Experience

  • 2 years of relevant experience.
  • 2 years of workplace programs, facilities, employee experience, events, and/or site management experience.
  • Requirement to be on‑site during normal business hours, Monday–Friday.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move items weighing 20–30 lbs as needed (infrequent requirement).
  • Role requires on‑site presence during normal business hours, Monday–Friday.
  • 40 hours per week.
