Job summary

Carowinds is seeking an hourly Workforce Scheduling Assistant to support park scheduling operations. You will assist associates with FUNtime, UKG/Kronos, and App questions, and back up Full-Time park schedulers as needed.

In this role, you will help maintain long term schedules, compile staffing data, and deliver guest service while staying organized. The position requires availability nights, weekends, and holidays, with emphasis on accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills, including formulas and tables.
• Guest service oriented according to Carowinds standards.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety per Carowinds guidelines.
• Meets scheduling availability: nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to pass background check and drug test as required.
• Willing to work across departments as scheduling needs arise.

Responsibilities

• Schedule duties within the FUNtime system and manage long-term departmental schedules.
• Revise park schedules when staffing changes or shortages occur.
• Compile information such as open shift reports and staffing details.
• Attend management meetings to address staffing needs and challenges.
• Provide high levels of guest service in person and over the phone.
• Keep the office area neat, organized and compliant with policies.
