Job summary

Carowinds is seeking a Scheduling Assistant to support the Workforce team by managing schedules in FUNtime, addressing UKG/Kronos and App questions, and backing up full-time park schedulers as needed. The role offers on-site work and requires strong guest service skills to assist associates across departments.

The position reports to the Workforce Supervisor and includes training to ensure you become a knowledgeable resource for all park associates and departments.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Excel use, incl. formulas and tables.
• Experience with scheduling systems and guest service.
• Ability to manage multiple shifts and departments with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Schedule duties within FUNtime scheduling system and manage long-term schedules for departments.
• Revise park schedules due to staffing changes or interruptions.
• Compile information such as open shift reports and staffing details.
• Attend management meetings to address staffing needs and challenges.
• Deliver high-level guest service in person and over the phone.
• Keep the office area neat and organized at all times.
• Perform additional duties as outlined by the Manager.
