Job summary

Carowinds in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Scheduling Associate to support park operations by assisting associates with FUNtime, UKG/Kronos, and App questions, and by backing up full-time schedulers as needed. This role will help ensure all departments have a knowledgeable resource for scheduling and related questions.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and deliver excellent guest service both in person and over the phone.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills including formulas and Pivot Tables.
• Excellent guest service according to Carowinds standards.
• Must meet scheduling availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Schedule within the FUNtime scheduling system, including managing long-term schedules for various departments.
• Revise park schedules when required due to staffing changes, labor shortages, or other interruptions.
• Compile information, such as open shift reports, staffing details, or associate data.
• Attend meetings with management to address staffing needs and challenges.
• Deliver a high level of guest service for both internal and external guests in person and over the phone.
• Ensure office area is neat and organized at all times.
• Additional duties as outlined by the Manager.
