Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and operate workforce analytics software. You will work on Python services, SQL transformations, and BI integrations, partnering with data and HR specialists to translate requirements into maintainable code and releases.

You will contribute to airflow workflows, data quality tests, and secure, scalable data products, while adhering to governance and security patterns across the analytics stack.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of Python or a comparable language experience.
• 3+ years of experience building or integrating APIs, services, data workflows, or production systems.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL, BigQuery preferred.
• 1+ year of Git, CI/CD practices, GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain software features across Python, SQL, and workflow code.
• Translate requirements into technical tasks with data engineers, analysts, and HR partners.
• Participate in code reviews and write automated tests for business logic and data contracts.
• Build and maintain BigQuery transformations and models following conventions.
