Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years with Python or a comparable language with automated tests.
• 3+ years building or integrating APIs, data workflows, or production systems.
• 3+ years crossing application code, data transformations and tooling as product needs require.
• 2+ years of advanced SQL, preferably BigQuery, including scripting and optimization.
• 2+ years with Kimball dimensional modeling concepts.
• 2+ years of production experience with Airflow/Cloud Composer and Python for ETL.
• 2+ years of cloud data platforms (GCP) with BigQuery, IAM, and security concepts.
• 1+ year with enterprise BI layers (e.g., Superset, Power BI) including governed metrics.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain software features across Python, SQL, and workflow code.
• Translate requirements into technical tasks; collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and HR partners.
• Participate in code reviews and write automated tests for business logic and data contracts.
• Build and maintain BigQuery transformations and models for the product.
• Implement workforce metric definitions in SQL and BI integrations.
• Document changes and obtain owner approval before release.
• Contribute to Superset datasets and dashboard integrations.
