Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Software Engineer for Workforce Insights to develop and operate analytics software across Python services, SQL transformations, and BI integrations. You will partner with data and HR experts to translate requirements into maintainable code, tests, and releases, growing domain knowledge with team support.

The role emphasizes security, quality, and scalable data workflows using BigQuery, Airflow/Cloud Composer, and Superset in a cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years Python or a comparable language, including writing maintainable code and automated tests.
• 3+ years building or integrating APIs, services, data workflows, or other production systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain software features across Python, SQL, and workflow code.
• Translate requirements into technical tasks; collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and HR partners.
• Participate in code reviews and write automated tests for logic, data contracts, and integrations.
• Build and maintain BigQuery transformations and models for the product.
