Job summary

The College of Southern Idaho is seeking an experienced Workforce Development Operations Manager to streamline student registration, class creation, and enrollment within the Workforce Development department. You will supervise two Student Specialists and one Community Education Coordinator while ensuring outstanding customer service and program growth.

Lead data-driven enrollment analysis, coordinate class schedules with instructors, and develop policies to improve efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business, education, HR, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in operations management, workforce development, or higher education.
• Experience supervising staff and managing customer service functions.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in student information systems and scheduling software.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee student registration and enrollment processes to ensure timely and accurate enrollment.
• Develop and implement policies to enhance registration and enrollment efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal departments for data collection, processing, and record maintenance.
• Address and resolve registration-related issues in a customer-focused manner.
• Monitor waiting lists and communicate interest from students.
• Oversee use of student vouchers for maximum benefit.
• Coordinate with instructors to build and schedule workforce development classes.
• Order and ensure materials for classes are available on time.
• Monitor course availability and adjust scheduling to meet demand.
