The College of Western Idaho (CWI) is seeking an Integrated Education & Training (IET) Teacher/Coordinator to design and deliver customized workforce education programs that support employee development, workforce readiness, and career pathway advancement.

Workforce Training & Instructional Excellence:
Design, develop, and deliver customized workforce education and training programs aligned with employer needs and regional workforce demands
Provide contextualized instruction in English language acquisition, workplace communication, digital literacy, employability skills, and foundational academic skills integrated with industry-specific content
Adapt curriculum and instructional methods based on employer feedback, workforce trends, operational priorities, and learner needs
Utilize a variety of instructional formats, including in-person, hybrid, remote, asynchronous, and workplace-based learning environments
Develop instructional materials and training resources that support employee skill development and workforce readiness
Employer Partnerships & Workforce Engagement:
Serve as the primary liaison between Adult Education and employer partners
Conduct employer consultations, needs assessments, and ongoing communication to identify workforce skill gaps and training opportunities
Collaborate with employers, supervisors, workforce partners, and instructional teams to develop responsive workforce training solutions
Support employee retention, advancement, career pathway development, and workplace success through targeted training initiatives
Build and maintain strong relationships with business and industry stakeholders
Develop and continuously refine customized curriculum aligned with workplace expectations, industry terminology, and employer needs
Support the implementation of Integrated Education and Training (IET) models and career pathway programming connected to regional workforce demands
Incorporate adult learning theory, culturally responsive instruction, and multilingual learner supports into instructional design
Provide leadership in curriculum innovation, instructional best practices, and continuous quality improvement
Stay current on workforce trends, labor market needs, and emerging industry training requirements
Assessment, Outcomes & Compliance:
Monitor participant progress, measurable skill gains, credential attainment, and training effectiveness using workforce and educational data
Evaluate program outcomes and employer satisfaction to inform continuous improvement efforts
Maintain accurate documentation related to attendance, assessments, instructional activities, and participant outcomes
Ensure compliance with state, federal, grant, and institutional reporting requirements
Prepare reports and documentation supporting program performance and accountability
Collaboration & Strategic Workforce Development:
Coordinate training logistics, schedules, assessments, and instructional delivery timelines with employer partners
Participate in workforce partnership development, employer outreach, and collaborative planning activities
Work closely with community organizations, workforce development agencies, and industry stakeholders to expand workforce opportunities
Support regional workforce initiatives that align education with employment needs
Contribute to the continued growth and success of CWI’s workforce development programs
What We’re Looking For:
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Adult Education, workforce training, ESL instruction, or a related instructional setting
Experience developing customized curriculum and delivering contextualized instruction for adult learners or workforce populations
Strong understanding of adult learning theory, multilingual learner supports, and differentiated instructional practices
Proficiency using instructional technology, online learning platforms, and digital workforce tools
Ability to independently manage projects, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and adapt to evolving employer and learner needs
Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, and collaborative problem-solving skills
Most positions at CWI are in-person and based on campus. While some roles may allow up to two remote workdays per week, eligibility for remote work is determined on a case-by-case basis at the hiring manager's discretion. All candidates must reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a reasonable commuting distance from CWI. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
