AvonRisk is seeking a seasoned Claims Manager to supervise a claims unit, report to the Claims Manager, and ensure accurate work product for assigned inventories. The role involves coaching, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to company standards and Labor Code requirements.

You will provide guidance, conduct evaluations, and initiate corrective actions while fostering collaboration with other departments to deliver high-quality claim management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college; 5+ years progressive technical claim experience.
• Ability to provide guidance on complex claim cases and negotiate settlements.
• Strong judgment and discretion with ability to coach others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the work product of a claims unit under the Claims Manager.
• Coach, mentor, and provide performance feedback to personnel.
• Ensure claims handling complies with Labor Code rules and company standards.
• Conduct performance evaluations and institute corrective actions as needed.
• Audit inventory and supervise supervisor backup development.
• Maintain teamwork across claims and other departments.
