Job summary

AvonRisk LLC in California seeks a Senior Claims Manager to lead a claims unit handling workers’ compensation and related claims, coaching staff, approving investigations, and ensuring all work products comply with company standards and Labor Code requirements.

You will conduct quarterly performance reviews, mentor supervisors, audit open inventories, provide timely reports to clients, and drive process improvements across departments to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
• Five or more years of progressive technical claim experience.
• Ability to provide guidance on complex claim cases and negotiate settlements.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance reviews for personnel within the assigned unit.
• Provide mentoring, coaching, and feedback to staff.
• Ensure claims are handled in compliance with Labor Code and company rules.
• Audit open inventories and processes to identify improvements.
