Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• One year of customer service experience.
• Willingness to obtain active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions within authority.
• Exceptional customer service orientation.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured training classes covering insurance policies and claim processes.
• Assist in reviewing, investigating, and documenting Workers’ Compensation claims under supervision.
• Investigate and evaluate action plans for claim resolution and determine coverage.
• Participate in telephonic and onsite file reviews.
• Learn to determine coverage, compensability, and exposure based on policy terms and facts.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third-party providers.
• Maintain records of claim activity in management systems.
• Aim to return injured workers to work when appropriate.
