Job summary

Travelers is seeking an Associate Claim Rep for Workers' Compensation in a structured 12‑month program designed to develop essential claims skills. You will learn claim handling, customer service and policy interpretation while working with experienced professionals.

As training progresses, you will assist with reviewing and investigating claims, determine coverage and compensability, and gather information from multiple sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required; internship or work experience in customer service or insurance is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured training covering insurance policies, claims processes, systems and procedures.
• Assist in reviewing, investigating, and documenting Workers' Compensation claims under supervision.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third parties and communicate claim status to involved parties.
• Maintain accurate records of claim activity in claim management systems and support closure of straightforward claims.
