Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company in Downers Grove, IL is offering an Associate Claim Rep, Workers Compensation training program designed to develop your skills in claim handling, customer service, and policy interpretation. You will work alongside experienced professionals to prepare for independent claims work.

During the program (up to 12 months) you will gain hands-on experience reviewing claims, learning coverage determinations, and coordinating with medical professionals to support injured

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; internship or work experience in customer service or insurance preferred.
• Willingness to obtain an active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and claims management willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured training covering insurance policies, claim processes, systems and procedures.
• Review, investigate, and document Workers' Compensation claims under supervision.
• Determine coverage and exposure based on policy terms and claim facts.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and providers.
• Maintain accurate records of claim activity in claim systems.
• Assist in communicating claim status to all parties involved.
