Job summary

Zynex Medical, Inc. is seeking a Provider Relations Specialist to strengthen engagement with workers’ compensation providers and support NexWave utilization.

You will educate clinic teams, navigate payer expectations, and build durable relationships across occupational medicine, PT, and MSK networks. This role emphasizes independent ownership, cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Intake, Billing, and Operations, and proactive problem solving to improve provider access and patient outcomes

Qualifications

• 2+ years of healthcare, Workers’ Compensation, provider relations, account management, sales, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of Workers’ Compensation processes and reimbursement structures.
• Educate providers and clinic teams on Workers’ Compensation considerations affecting ordering, documentation, authorization, and utilization of NexWave.
• Build trusted relationships with occupational medicine clinics, urgent care centers, PT and MSK providers, case managers, TPAs, adjusters, and other WC stakeholders.
• Identify barriers affecting provider experience, patient access, approvals, or utilization and coordinate cross-functionally for solutions.
• Communicate clinical, operational, and reimbursement information to clinical and non-clinical audiences.
• Manage assigned relationships and priorities with accountability while coordinating with Sales, Intake, Billing, and Operations.
