Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking an HRIS Consultant who serves as the functional architect and Workday implementation lead for our HR technology ecosystem. This senior role focuses on Workday HCM, security, data structures, and cross‑module dependencies while coordinating with UKG and Salesforce integrations.

The role mentors HRIS analysts, defines design standards, and partners with HR, IT, and business leaders to deliver scalable, secure solutions that align with our strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in HRIS or enterprise HCM systems.
• 5+ years hands-on Workday HCM experience including configuration, security, and data structures.
• Experience leading full-cycle Workday implementations or major deployments.
• Knowledge of HR systems integrations, data governance, and upstream/downstream dependencies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise HR technology implementations from design through go-live and hyper care.
• Define scalable Workday solution designs, system-of-record ownership, and data flows across platforms.
• Serve as the senior Workday HCM functional lead and mentor analysts.
• Translate complex business needs into functional requirements and configuration specifications.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, Security, Legal, Compliance, and vendors to balance UX, risk, and sustainability.
