Highmark Health is seeking an experienced HRIS Consultant to serve as the functional architect and implementation lead for Workday and related HR technology. This role translates HR strategy and complex business needs into scalable, secure functional designs that support the organization’s objectives.

Qualifications

• At least 8+ years of progressive experience in HRIS, HR technology, or enterprise HCM systems.
• Experience 5+ years of hands-on Workday HCM within that period.
• Experience leading at least one full-cycle Workday implementation or major enterprise Workday deployment.
• Strong knowledge of HR systems integrations, data mapping, data governance, and system-of-record concepts.
• Experience mentoring HRIS analysts or other functional team members.
• Strong communication skills for facilitation with business leaders and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise HR technology implementations from design through go-live and hyper care.
• Define scalable Workday solution designs, data flows, and system-of-record ownership across connected platforms.
• Serve as senior Workday functional lead for Core HCM, security, and cross-module dependencies.
• Translate complex business needs into documented functional requirements and configuration specs.
• Review and approve complex Workday configurations and provide hands-on support for high-complexity solutions.
• Coach HRIS analysts on design standards, security, testing, and documentation.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, Security, Legal, Compliance and business leaders to balance user experience with risk and sustainability.
• Develop and maintain a multi-year HR technology roadmap aligned with strategy and regulatory needs.
