Job summary

Gartner is seeking an HR Systems Product Lead to own and evolve the Workday HCM portfolio, focusing on Benefits, Compensation and Time & Absence.

You will partner with HRIS leadership and business owners to deliver enhancements, manage system administration, and drive quality across processes and data. The role requires strong communication, project management, and analytical skills in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience configuring and managing Workday HCM and other HR systems, including business processes, data structure, BP security, EIBs, reporting and calculated fields.
• Experience in other areas of Workday is a plus (position management, talent/performance, compensation, benefits, absence, time tracking).
• Knowledge of HR business processes.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience developing reports and calculated fields in Workday.
• Strong service orientation with ownership and accountability.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong work ethic and goal-driven attitude.
• Exceptional time management and ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Systems thinker with process orientation and attention to detail.
• Superior interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• High level of executive presence.
• Change management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evolve the Benefits, Compensation and Time and Absence technology portfolio and roadmap with HRIS leadership and stakeholders.
• Maintain relationships with key business partners for issue resolution and enhancements.
• Drive and maintain Workday Benefits, Compensation and Time and Absence capabilities within HR Systems.
• Own and execute system administration for Workday: configuration, security, processes, notifications, auditing, data quality.
• Coordinate vendor-led releases and system enhancements; configure and deploy new features; plan testing and UAT.
• Support operational excellence in HR systems and evolving processes; manage project timelines.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement solutions for bugs and issues.
• Assist Reporting & Analytics with report/dashboard design and testing requirements.
• Configure, test, and process mass data loads via Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB).
• Support Compliance enablement via HRIS and regulatory changes.
• Assist requirements sessions with SMEs, IT, and users.
• Develop knowledge management collateral to support training and education.
