Job summary

Harris in Salt Lake City seeks a Human Capital Systems Manager to keep Workday and HRIS operations running smoothly. You’ll lead the HCMS team, ensuring data quality, onboarding, changes, and offboarding are handled efficiently across HR, Payroll and Technology.

You’ll drive improvements, partner with cross‑functional teams, and mentor four direct reports while aligning daily activities with business goals and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a Human Capital Systems, HRIS Analyst, or HRIS Administrator role.
• Hands-on Workday experience and knowledge of HRIS platforms and connected systems.
• Experience managing daily HRIS support and partnering with Human Capital, Payroll, Technology, and process improvement colleagues.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and other functions and formulas.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to work effectively across teams and levels.
• Organized, self directed approach with a track record of taking ownership and following work through to completion.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in HR Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
• PMP, SHRM CP, SHRM SCP, SPHR, or Prosci Change Management certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own daily HCMS operations.
• Be accountable for daily support, system stability, data quality, and consistent execution of employee lifecycle processes.
• Provide hands‑on guidance and people leadership so the team can resolve issues, meet operational needs, and maintain clear documentation.
