Bluegrass Community & Technical College seeks a Work-Based Learning Coordinator (Career Services Counselor III) to connect students, faculty and employers and coordinate internships, apprenticeships, job shadowing and site visits.

The role develops partnerships with local employers, integrates work-based learning into curricula, tracks outcomes, and prepares reports for institutional requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum four (4) years related to career services or workforce development.
• Experience with employer relations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate and recruit for work- and competency-based learning programs.
• Collaborate with faculty to integrate work-based learning into curricula.
• Cultivate partnerships with local employers to create internships and apprenticeships.
• Conduct employer outreach, site visits, and evaluations.
• Advise and prepare students for work-based learning through workshops and coaching.
• Maintain records of participation, partners, and outcomes.
• Track data to measure program effectiveness and student success.
• Prepare reports for institutional reporting requirements.
• Expand opportunities through community organizations and workforce boards.
• Promote opportunities via marketing materials and social media.
