Southcentral Kentucky Community & Technical College is seeking a Coordinator of Career Development to guide students through exploring career pathways, building workforce-ready skills, connecting with employers, and gaining real-world experience.

The role leads a comprehensive Career Development Model and collaborates with Student Services, Academic Affairs, Workforce Solutions, and community partners to prepare students for successful employment and lifelong career success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field was required.
• Three years of progressively responsible leadership experience in career services or related field.
• Experience building partnerships with employers and educational institutions.
• Experience using data to guide program improvement and planning.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership for a college-wide career development strategy that extends beyond traditional career services.
• Design and oversee programs for career exploration, planning, and readiness.
• Coordinate career assessments, pathway exploration, labor market information resources, and coaching.
• Encourage the use of Handshake.
• Collaborate with departments and partners to expand internships, apprenticeships, and work-based learning.
