Job summary

Questar III BOCES is seeking a Regional Career-Connected Learning Coordinator to partner with school districts and design high-quality career-connected learning opportunities for students. You will work across multiple districts to align programs with local workforce needs, provide customized support and build scalable, sustainable WBL experiences.

The role emphasizes educational leadership, workforce development, and strong relationship-building to strengthen regional career pathways.

Qualifications

Strong organizational, communication, facilitation and project management skills.
Ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with schools, employers, and community organizations.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the BOCES region.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with districts to design, implement, expand and sustain Work-Based Learning programs.
Align services with district strategic plans and workforce priorities.
Develop implementation plans based on district goals and partnerships.
Provide guidance on building sustainable WBL programs.
Coordinate NYSED-approved WBL experiences (career exploration, internships, mentoring, etc.).
Monitor placements, communicate with students, educators, employers and families.
Expand employer participation reflecting regional labor market needs.
Represent BOCES at regional meetings, events and career fairs.
