Job summary

Networks Connect in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a dedicated Withdrawal Management Unit Nurse to join our team. You will monitor the WM Unit, provide basic nursing care, and address the medical and emotional needs of clients under the supervision of the WM Supervisor and Medical Director.

Responsibilities include admission interviews, documenting records per CARF procedures, dispensing medications, monitoring withdrawal signs, and coordinating referrals to community resources.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN license required.
• CPR certification required.
• TB certification and Safe From Harm training within first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct admission interviews collecting medical, social, emotional and demographic data.
• Maintain and audit client case records per CARF procedures.
• Dispense medications as directed by physician and document.
• Monitor withdrawal signs and report to Medical Director or WM Supervisor.
• Provide emergency First Aid and CPR as needed.
• Facilitate referrals to community resources not provided by SAHLC.
• Maintain professional attitude toward clients and families.
• Ensure CFR-42 compliance and confidentiality.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Monitor clients' physical and medical status and provide direct nursing care.
• Carry out Medical Director orders and support Medical Assistants.
• Maintain up-to-date TB records for staff.
