Job summary

Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Withdrawal Management team. You will conduct nursing assessments, monitor withdrawal symptoms, manage medications, and coordinate care for adults seeking recovery in a multidisciplinary setting.

This role requires an active Minnesota RN license, CPR certification, and at least 3 years of nursing experience. The position is full-time, on-site in Minneapolis, with day shifts on a 12.5-hour schedule.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing with Minnesota Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain during onboarding.
• Minimum three years of nursing experience.
• Experience with withdrawal assessment tools such as CIWA-Ar and COWS.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical screenings, nursing triage assessments, and admission evaluations.
• Monitor withdrawal symptoms and patient health status throughout the stay.
• Review and reconcile medications; provide administration and education.
• Coordinate care with hospitals, pharmacies, and other providers; maintain documentation in EHR.
