Job summary

The Salvation Army Indiana Division seeks a Withdrawal Management Supervisor to work with the Medical Director, oversee the WM unit, and ensure compliance with CFR-42 and licensing. You will provide basic nursing care, monitor medical status, and manage client care plans within a compassionate faith-based setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an RN in Indiana preferred; minimum LPN license required.
• Background check required.
• Two years supervisory/management experience in nursing, with substance use disorder focus preferred; CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and Safe From Harm training within 90 days of hire.
• Able to communicate in English; Spanish skills valued; computer proficiency with MS Office and electronic systems.
• If in recovery, must demonstrate at least two years of sobriety.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the Withdrawal Management (WM) unit in coordination with the Medical Director.
• Ensure compliance with accrediting, certification, licensing, and funding requirements.
• Provide basic nursing care and monitor medical status of clients.
• Document client data, vital signs, medications, and withdrawal course in charts.
• Dispense medications as directed and maintain accurate records.
• Lead staff meetings, coordinate shift handoffs, and ensure 24/7 coverage.
• Coordinate referrals to community resources and maintain confidentiality.
