Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Wireless Telecommunications Subject Matter Expert to provide technical leadership across projects, overseeing design reviews and ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards. The role involves coordinating with BIM designers, AHJs, carriers, and project teams in a hybrid work environment.

You will work on systems including DAS, LMR, Wi‑Fi, and Private LTE/5G, helping to shape engineering standards and support both proposals and field deployments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing wireless telecom systems (LMR, DAS, Wi‑Fi, Private LTE/5G).
• Experience reviewing iBwave, EDX, Atoll, LMR Planner or similar RF modeling tools.
• Strong technical leadership and ability to mentor engineers and project leads.
• Experience coordinating with clients, BIM designers, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve wireless system designs; provide technical leadership.
• Coordinate with BIM designers to create drawing packages and with AHJs and carriers.
• Support commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and development of design standards.
