Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Wireless Telecommunications Subject Matter Expert to lead design efforts across data center related wireless systems, including DAS, Wi-Fi, Private LTE/5G, and CBRS. You will mentor engineers, review designs, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, high-quality solutions.

You will work on multiple projects, ensuring technical quality and risk management while supporting business development and client needs in a flexible hybrid US-wide environment.

Qualifications

Technical degree and 10+ years in wireless systems design.
Experience leading projects and mentoring engineers.
Experience with RF modeling tools and client interaction.
Knowledge of NFPA, IFC, FCC rules, and carrier KPIs.

Responsibilities

Review wireless designs in iBwave/EDX and provide leadership.
Coordinate with BIM designers and stakeholders for drawings.
Develop and maintain wireless design standards and best practices.
Support commissioning, testing and troubleshooting activities.
Assist proposals and respond to RFPs/RFIs.
